Transition to school for Children with Learning Needs (NESA Webinar)

This course is designed for teachers in both Early Childhood and Primary school settings. It clearly outlines the steps and processes involved in transitioning a child with personalised learning and support needs from an Early Childhood setting to a school setting. This includes understanding education transition and support processes, referral and flagging systems, the development of personalised learning support and transition plans, and strategies for effective collaboration across settings when working with families and other professionals. Active engagement in this process will assist successful transitions and help ensure that effective strategies and appropriate resources are in place to support a positive start to school.
