CHC50113: Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

What can I do with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care?

Upon completion of the Diploma, you will be a fully qualified Early Childhood Educator. This means you could gain employment as a Room Leader and a Nominated Supervisor / Director within a variety of Children's Services.  

This Diploma qualification is also a recognised pathway into the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood / Primary) at the University of Newcastle and other Universities throughout Australia. This could save you thousands in HECS fees and you wouldn't need an ATAR. You may also apply for other University courses using a Diploma qualification.

You are able to undertake the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care by distance online or traineeship

Will I need to do workplace training?

How long will it take to complete the course?
