This course is designed for Teachers in both Early Childhood Services and Primary School. It aims to extend their knowledge to establish and implement specific intentional teaching strategies, responsive to the diverse strengths and needs of children; including the implementation of positive and inclusive interactions, role modeling and negotiating clear expectation for children, establishing routines to engage children and communication techniques to support children’s understanding and achievement.
Teachers will develop skills and knowledge to assess, plan and implement positive guidance behaviour plans, using a collaborative approach with co-workers, families, children and other specialists.
